Yes, Catherine Martin/Kilmartin + James Callaghan.
James Dies 1843
Catherine marries 1844 Michael Flannagan.
On ancestry it lists place as Loughborough,Leic
And her abode as ‘The Rushes’
Which is where they were living on 1841

I’ve had no luck in finding a marriage between James and Catherine in a Ireland.
Should be before 1833.
Possible bapt for Catherine is 1816 Elphin, Roscommon. Daughter of John Martin and Margaret Gannon. Residents of Ballyrody.

Waiting for David Callaghans cert to give me a possible father for James.

Think I may have had a break through although not sure but I think I’ve found baptisms for children David and Mary Ann.

David Callaghan bapt 1833 Boyle, Co.Roscommon, Ireland. Parents James Callaghan and Catherine (surname is left blank)

And I have Mary Ann bapt 1832 Boyle, Co.Roscommon, Ireland. Parents James and Catherine (Surnane blank again) James is listed as REVENUE POLICE again.

So have you looked for a Marriage for them??

RC registers are online  IF they were RC

Does David give a place of birth in any census?
Census Information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

In 1841 living with James and family it is Ireland.
But in 1851/61/71 his birthplace is Manchester, Lancashire.
Birthdate ranges between 1802 to 1815

Just had a look through the Boyle/Elphin records and can see no James Callaghan's marrying, might have married Anglican so not sure if all records are online.
I'm still missing a bapt record for James Callaghan born abt 1838 Ireland.

I've had no luck on FindMyPast/rootsireland/ancestry in finding a David Callaghan son of James fitting timeline.
There is a few discharge records for James Callaghans but nothing noting family.
I dont take much stock in other peoples trees on ancestry but I notice that one person has James's parents as a James Callaghan and Mary Byrnes. Only record I can find is a James Callighan bapt 8 Oct 1806 Navan, Co.Meath. With these two parents.
They also list siblings
Celia/Cecelia Callaghan born 1800 died 1844
Catherine Callaghan born 1804
David Callaghan born 1810

I can find no evidence of this other bapts and there are no sources linked to any of these children apart from david having what i already have on him.
