Hiya- not sure! That was the only one I could find too! They were ag labs in rented cottages- but I guess he could have been travelling? Does it show any next of kin? I don't think this is the one I am looking for as I have him still technically alive on a Land tax report for 1847 as being an occupant of a cottage but he is referred to in a will the following year as being the late Thomas P x

it is only an index.
Is the age-at-death appropriate?
If it is/might be, then you send off for the certificate.

How old was he in 1841?

People didn’t always die at home.

Is your Thomas the one who was a 25 yr old ag lab in “Baltonley”, Staffs in 1841?

With Sarah, also 25, neither born in county?

Reg district is Newcastle under Lyme.

It is quite possibly the young couple on the 1841 census andvthete is a possible marriage in Aug 1841 which fits with other info I have. This is why I have sort of dismissed the death in Warrington but I may have to dig a bit deeper.  Thank you for the extra info 're the 1841censusehich may explain why the marriage in Aug 1841 happened in stoke xx
Thank you for all your help.
