This is a possible Cartwright-Lambert marriage in Newark - of course this doesn't show who actually married whom so could be a red herring::

In Flintham, about 7 miles from Newark (given p.o.b. on 1891 & 1901 censuses). No sign of him or Edward and Sarah Cartwright on any censuses. Can anyone help?

Here they are in 1871, so it looks like that William had died.
