Violet Ruby Evans Born 28 March 1910  at 19 School Lane, Leominster to John Evans and Maud Evans Nee Wade. Birth certificate in hand
.
1911 Census i Find Ruby Evans as a Nurse Child living with the Loxston Family in Kingstone.

Marriage certificate 26 January 1935 to Henry Lister at Registry Office Knighton. She is then Evans otherwise Loxston Certificate in hand.

Death 1999 in Presteigne, Buried in Presteigne Cemetery.

I am trying to find any deatils of her parents John Evans and Maud Evans but so far come to a stop. A marriage or census details would be of most help.

The birth registration details for Violet suggets that the registration may have been subject to some sort of amendment or other anomaly.  What is the date of registration, and who was the informant?

It looks as though a Robert Evans b abt 1834 Worcester may have spent some time at 19 School Lane, Leominster at around the relevant time - he may be worth following up in case there is a link.

I think there is likely to be a link with William James Lewis and Elizabeth Ann Wade, who married in Cheltenham in 1889 and were in Hereford by 1901.  I believe they subsequently moved to 19 School Lane, Leominster (I suggest you look up William in the 1911 census, which we can’t give details of here).

Elizabeth was 38 b Monmouth in 1901: RG13/2480/19/29 (William was 31 b London, so b abt 1870).
