Just a thought, try getting in touch with the Weston-Super-Mare & District FHS as I know they have some members from Clevedon & one of them may be able to help you - come to that the members who run a help day at Weston library may be able to help you as there are some books on Clevedon in that libraries local studies room.  to find more about the FHS just type WsMFHS into google & that will find them.  Im one of the volunteer researchers who work during

 the help days at Weston library by the way but Im on holiday at the moment or Id of offered to try & help you out with a look up.
