And I wonder if this fits in anywhere ... A Robert AITKEN, who came from Bendigo but died in W.A. in 1934 aged 80 (and he had a son Hector  :))

Thank you everyone who replied to my request for information regarding Robert. You have messaged me to let me know about his life and family. I am so glad that he had done well in Australia. Wondering why he went to Bendigo I googled it and found about the gold rush there and I think that is why he went there. About the shunter Hector Aitken who was killed by a train ,my late brother Hector Aitken Laurie was also a shunter on railway. you are all such great people who has given me the insight to Robert.
