Hi,
There are a couple of reports in newspapers.
Suffolk Chronicle 6th February 1819
"Commitments--On Saturday last to the Borough Gaolin this town, Catherine Miles(by H Seekamp Esq.) charged with stealing on 7th November last, 54l in notes, I guinea, 3 half crowns, about 10s and 2 sixpences, the property of Samuel Ramsey."
There are a couple more reports, one quite detailed.
They mention a daughter Deborah Hewitt, and that Catherine was sentenced to 7 yrs transportation.
In one she was described as "Catherine Miles, a fair Cypriot of some celebrity aged 44"

Do you have her convict records?
I am Australian, from all the lands I come (my ancestors, at least!)

Pine/Pyne, Dowdeswell, Kempster, Sando/Sandoe/Sandow, Nancarrow, Hounslow, Youatt, Richardson, Jarmyn, Oxlade, Coad, Kelsey, Crampton, Lindner, Pittaway, and too many others to name.
Devon, Dorset, Gloucs, Cornwall, Warwickshire, Bucks, Oxfordshire, Wilts, Germany, Sweden, and of course London, to name a few.

The Quarter Sessions record on Ancestry has no further information than what is in the newspaper report.
