Frank Pepper, born 14th of August 1873

Hello,

Got Frank's birthday from his 1896 baptism in Newington, London. Parents John Hinson Pepper and Eliza Scarr (m. 1870, Cambridge). I'm going to be flicking through the microfilm today on FamilySearch as the users on this forum once said his birth may not have been indexed yet. Also a chance he was born in the US, but his parents claim that Frank and his elder twin sisters, Minnie Ethel and Mabel Eliza were born in Ontario - which the twins were in Perth County in August 1871. I'd appreciate any assistance.

The Cambridge Daily News, 16 Mar 1920, carries a report of the inquest (at Twickenham) into the death of "AN OLD CAMBRIDGE RESIDENT ..... John Hinson Pepper, age 71, .... having been in business here (ie. Cambridge) for many years ...."

Thank you for all of that. I have viewed both before and the 1874 date does show that the Peppers returned home shortly after Frank's 1873 birth.

I went all the way to end of the microfilm of Ontario births but it didn't even reach 1873  couldn't see anything for Frank.
