Annie Scaplehorn b1856 Lockeridge, Wiltshire

HI All

I am having trouble finding Annie! I can't locate either her or her family, I'm guessing due to her surname & it's spelling.
She married William Rudman b1854 Marlborough, Wiltshire. The wedding date is 1/3/1879 & her father is named as Charles. I have found Charles in the 1841 census as Charles Sceapelhorn b1821 living in Lockeridge.

If anyone can help I'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

As Annie Rudman she gives her birthplace as Overton in 1881 and 1891.

She looks likely to be Ann Skepelhorne, 9 b Overton, in 1861, daughter of Charles and Sarah. RG9/1289/146/15.

Perhaps she revised her age downwards at marriage to cover for the fact thst she was older than her husband.
