According to the census Thomas Priske was born St Hilary.

There is this baptism that isn't that far away. The date is slightly out, but census dates are not always accurate, especially for non family members. It may be worth following up, if only to eliminate him.

He is a 70 year old widower, a Blacksmith by trade. Not sure how accurate the age is as he is down as 67 in the 1851 Census, with a 73 year old wife, Elizabeth.

Yes the Thomas Priske on the 1861 with Thomas Sincock was a blacksmith, born 1791, St Hilary.

Thank you emelton yes this is Thomas with his wife Elizabeth on the 1851 census. Thomas mother's maiden name was Oliver.

There is a possible death record for Thomas prisk in Helston 1872 age 86yrs old. can't find a burial for him yet
