Holne. Grave of Harriet Weston.
« on: Friday 11 May 18 13:21 BST (UK) »
We are planning a visit to England in August and are keen to find the grave of my wife's gg-grandmother, Harriet Weston, who died on 6/6/1901 and who was buried in The St Mary's church graveyard. According to family lore the wording on her gravestone is 'Simply to thy cross I cling'.
From Google maps satelite view it seems the graveyard is off to one side of the church. If someone in Holne or nearby  who knows the church, could let me know if the graveyard that contains graves from the early 1900 still exists (some graveyards have had their old headstones removed and stored), I would be most grateful.

If you google 'Moorland Team Churches' you will be able to find contact details for the Churchwarden of Holne. She should be able to advise you further.

Thank you. I will follow up your suggestion.
I like your family motto. A very sensible one in the 'good old days' I would have thought.
