Yep exactly!

Hopefully all the correct family as the middle name Forbes could be of use/help?

A possible for Eliza 1851?

Closest I could find to her age...

MCKINNON ELIZA 18
116/ 4/ 6 Small Isles, Argyll

I haven't looked at any transcriptions i.e. she may be within another household? Edit to add...
Living with a Mathieson family gives her PoB as Strath, Inverness (possible she didn't provide the info. or possibly an error if it's our Eliza)?
Address is Portmore, Rum (I could only find a 'Port Mor' on the Isle of Muck)

ED 2, Page 6, Sch 17, Line 20
Roll CSSCT1851_27

Small Isles have 100s of McKinnons!!!

Catherine was apparently 85 years old and died in the Poorhouse, Oban.

She was described as widow of John McKinnon, General Labourer.

Just curious as to whether there was mention of 'Usual address' on the DC?

The fact a family member was not the informant may suggest any living family were living elsewhere?

I wonder how long Catherine had been in the Poorhouse & it may be possible to apply for records although where, I don't know although someone may know?

Thought I’d add this for 1861 as a possible son Alexander with a father-in-Law McDougall, surname which cropped up on Catherine’s DC?

Catherine McKinnon 27 [Catherine McDougall] Dau b c 1834
Spouse Alexr McKinnon
Father Donald McDougall
Born Kilninian & Kilmore, Argyll
Address Farm Of Penmore

Reg Number 544
RD Kilninian and Kilmore (Argyll)

Donald McDougall 72
Catherine McKinnon 27
Alexr McKinnon    34 b c 1827, Labourer, Born "Uloa, Argyllshire"  ??? (Ulva, Mull)?
Robert McDougall 3

Not having much luck either with finding John and Catherine on the 1851 Census few possibilities for other members of the family ...Regarding finding records for poor relief Mitchell Library might have some records or Edinburgh ..There used to be a place in Lochgilphead that had some records
Went there several years ago ...and there is also the library in Oban
