Richard Lawson and Mary ?

Richard Lawson married Mary? sometime before 1808 presumably in Yorkshire. Their daughter, Ann, married William Errington in 1808 at South Shields. Can’t get passed Richard and Mary? to find out who their parents were. If anyone can help, I’d really appreciate it. Why oh why did people have to name their children similar to everyone else in a family and the general population.
