Looking for Blade Family (1901 & 1911 census)
« on: Sunday 13 May 18 15:34 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help please

William Blade married Margaret Grant in 1898 at Liverpool, Our Lady & St. Nicholas & St. Anne Church

They had the following children all in Liverpool:
William John 1900
Samuel 1902
Mary Ann 1904
William Henry 1906
James 1908

I can't find them in 1901 or 1911.

It looks like James was in an institution with his Mum -who was using her middle name of Mary - and4 of children had died (so possibly Samuel and james were the surviving children)

If we have the correct couple with the middle initials they were possibly William Derby Blade and Margaret mary Blade

William Derby Blade served in the Royal Fusileers in WW1

This looks like his probate record William Derby Blade of 14 Kitchener Road Forest Gate Essex died 6 Aug at sea
Admin London 2 Nov to Margaret mary Blade widow
