Age opinion? photograph

Hi everyone, new to here and looking to trace an elusive family member with a very dubious past and certificates information?
To start I am curious with your opinions on the age of the chap in the photograph we are unable to find...
Wedding photograph taken on 29th April 1944
She is 37...
But he claims to be 36???
I say No Chance!
What do you think?

we have a marriage and a sons birth certificate but he doesn't seem to exist using any of the information on them.
The photo clearly adds questions to his age?
There is a possible entry in the 1939 register with various birth dates and some overwritten red writing which i am trying to get my head round? new to the 1939 register?
To put it lightly he was a bit of a rogue and nothing surprises us that he is untraceable and we do not trust any info on there, like fathers name, his date of birth etc... nothing comes up on Ancestry etc..
There is quite a bit of info and documents we have but still untraceable?

We need to find an expert who understands where to look, may even involve searching news archives from the area and finding records from their divorce and his possible trial and jail time he reputably had for bigamy?
I have built 2 family trees on Ancestry and just coming up with a blank with every possible combination of details, most info we think has to be bogus info.
Probably he will be untraceable which was probably always his intention?
but some of it must be true? we assume you couldn't get married, have children and divorced without having and proving some form of identification to the system?

For a wedding photo he doesn't look particularly happy does he! 

Hhmm, 1944.  Had he perhaps been dabbling in the black market that went on during the war?  Gave himself a false identity or two to escape detection?

I would also put him in his mid to late forties.

Have you any addresses that you could check on the electoral rolls?

Andy... they guys and girls here are brilliant at finding out information. But they do need some names, dates and location so they can check their resources.  They are probably biting at the bit to get going on what looks like a great story
