Bartholomew and Mary McDonnell (Tallow, Waterford )

Recently discovered my Jeremiah McDonnell 1827 Tallow, Waterford- 1889 Berkshire county, Massachusetts USA parents were Bartholomew and Mary McDonnell; however, the records never indicated her maiden name.  Guessing the parents were born in the 1804-1807 range and possible relatives to Bartholomew McDonnell and Johanna Mahoney from the 1800-1802 birth range also from Tallow.
Doubt that there are more complete records for Jeremiah's parents, but I have to inquiry and ask for advisement, thank you !

Parents were named with Jeremiah's death papers 4/15/1889 Berkshire county, Massachusetts; Jeremiah was born in Tallow, Waterford 1827.  Most of my McDonnells either were from Tallow, Waterford or Castlelyons, Cork, Ireland which is 11 mile away.

Thank you very much for your help. . .I will follow-up, however when I've use hand-written primary sources in the Irish records, I find it very difficult to understand their script.
 Some records in Massachusetts use McDonald/McDonnell/McDonell in their census documents and even found this true in cemeteries. . .
