Whitehall, nr Caerleon

When Thomas John Lewis (M2/119426) attested in 1915, he gave his address as Whitehall, Nr Caerleon. Mon.  Is there such a place? A search on Google only finds a White Hall Farm caravan site.  Appreciate any help

The Wikipedia page for Redwick, Newport mentions such a house:

Whitehall Farm/Redbrick House
The earliest church records show that there was a house, then called Whitehall Farm, on the site since 1450. The main Georgian façade was built around 1795, by MP William Phillips. Phillips, built the Brick House ready for his son's return to Britain from the American Colonies. The son, also named William, never returned, however, as the ship carrying him home was wrecked in a storm before reaching Britain and he was drowned. The house is now a guest house.

Thank you both for the interesting information. 

His service papers show Thomas J Lewis married Margaret Louise Parry at Baptist Chapel, St Mellons on 12 Sept 1913.  She is listed as his next of kin with address Whitehall, Nr Caerleon.  A daughter Margaret Nesta Lewis was born 2 Aug 1914
