Belfast Telegraph, 14 August 1883: FUNERAL OF THE LATE MR. GIBSON.  The remains of the late Mr. Gibson were this morning removed for interment from his residence, Montpellier, to the Borough Cemetery.  The Rev. John H. Moore conducted the service in the deceased gentleman's late residence prior to the removal of the remains, which were conveyed in a four-horse hearse, and followed by a very large and representative cortege to the family vault in the Borough Cemetery.  The chief mourners were Messrs. Samuel, William, and Robert Gibson, sons ; Mr James Gibson, brother ; and Messrs. John Campbell, Edward Sinclair, James Hogg, Wm. Harper, and John McDowell, brothers-in-law.  The cortege included most of the members of the Corporation, of which the deceased gentleman was until lately a member.

Thanks everyone for your help so far. It looks like John Gibson (1823-92) of Lisnabreeny, and James Gibson (1828-97) of Knockbracken were brothers, as from the marriage details, both stated that their father was a Samuel, whose was a Farmer. Also, the witnesses involved, all shared the same surname, ie: Miskelly.  Samuel Gibson's (1833-83), (husband of Annie Duffield), father was  a Samuel (farmer). I think, though am not certain, that Samuel was a brother of John and James. If anyone can confrim this, I would appreciate it.
