What became of Jane Scott?
« on: Wednesday 23 May 18 15:45 BST (UK) »
Hello,

Jane was born Jane Stevens in 1825, in Broad Chalke. She married John Scott in 1848 in Maddington. He died in 1873 in Longbridge Deverill, where the family were living. This is where I lose track of Jane.

I'd appreciate any help!

Actually, it's a different Jane Scott. She's recorded in Lea and Cleverton in 1861, 1871 and 1891. I think this must have been where I hit a snag researching Jane before.

There's this 1898 burial - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J8TG-C3D

Place isn't recorded but it never seems to be for Longbridge Deverill, instead it just gives 'Wiltshire'.
