Tentatively searching for Firth family in Cornwall
« on: Friday 25 May 18 09:53 BST (UK) »
My search has taken my family tree to Cornwall
I realise many family members maybe be alive so it’s a gentle look

My ancestor passed in 2009 - am I able to post information?

(I’m very new to this :) )

Hi,

You can post details of someone who has passed away but must not post names of those that may still be with us. Equally we cannot post details connected to the person who died in 2009 unless we are sure they have also passed. However we can send a pm to you if we cannot confirm that they have died.

Hope that makes sense  :)

JJ

Yes sorry I was trying to edit my post

Anything about Walter and his wife would be lovely particularly her details as sensitively as possible as I imagine his relatives are living so I would be interested in anything really :)

There is a marriage of a Walter G Firth
q3 1954, Pembroke
Vol 8c Page 977

His bride was Edith N Jones, wonder if this could be Nancy and that she preferred her middle name.

They has a son born q2 1955, Pembroke. Please have a look at that birth to ascertain if you believe it to be the son of Walter and Nancy.

Then hopefully we can progress from there  :)
