FIND A GRAVE

William Chivers - 1861 - 1932

Company Quartermaster Sergeant Chivers served in the Royal Berkshire Regiment and in the Lincoln Welland Regiment.
His headstone is a facsimile of that used by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. In Canada, it appears that these headstones are accorded to 'old soldiers' who die outside of service

Saint Andrew's Anglican Church Cemetery Grimsby, Niagara Regional Municipality, Ontario.

Winifred Kate arrives 1911.   Going to her father at Grimsby.  'British Bonus allowed"  and a note "add payment."

She says she is a religion that I think says Salvationist, but could be wrong
