Archives look up no2
« on: Saturday 26 May 18 11:27 BST (UK) »
Hi
I'm a different person but if you are at the Archives at Shrewsbury can I ask for a look up of the Hearth tax for Much Wenlock.
I just want to know if there are any Parsons in the parish.
I know there is a print of each parish in a folder on the shelves but I'm not there to take a look.
Any help appreciated.

Hello
Lovely of you to offer Billy.
I'd forgotten all about if the truth be told.
Don't worry about it and just do your own.
Fingers crossed you'll find something good and it's a pity to spend your time on my stuff.
But it is great of you to offer.
Thanks for being so nice

hi ciderdrinker,
thatís ok, I think if we all could do a look up for another
member, why not.  sure this is the place to ask.
will see what happens, a change is as good as a rest.
my g/mother was a parsons, any yours from Ireland?

                        best regards,   Billy.

Hi Billy
No I'm afraid all mine are from Much Wenlock.
I found a Will for a Lewis Parsons  so it tied everything up ,naming his 5 sons including my Richard and sorted everything out.
Before that I was hoping the Hearth tax would give some clues of the generation before Richard but now I know his parents I don't need it.
But thanks again for the offer.
All the best
