great grandfather Michael Connell M a Tattersall

Hello all

 My dads  Dad Michael Connell was Married in Manchester Cathedral in the  mid to late 1800s to some one Tattersall.
My grandfather was Thomas Richard Connell and his son, my dad Percival William Connell.

If anyone has any info it would be appreciated Thanks

Can you just clarify please.

You say first your  "dads  Dad Michael Connell "

And then you say

My grandfather was Thomas Richard Connell

But is not your father's father your grandfather?

Is it perhaps one of these men was your grandfather, and the other your great grand father?

Do you have any dates of birth, and places of birth?

Looking at FreeBMD.org.uk (GRO Birth, Marriage & Death Indexes) I can only find:

December qtr 1870
Birmingham Registration District     vol 6d, page 101
Connell, Thomas Richard

Can't see a birth for a Percival at all?

In Victoria, Australia.

The obituary in the Herald Sun Newspaper for Percival William CONNELL is dated 2003.
He was born 1921 and this is confirmed by his ww2 enlistment summary.
His next of kin at that time was Isabel.
His father is registered on Victorian Electoral rolls as Thomas Richard CONNELL and he lives with Annie Isabel CONNELL.

When Thomas Richard CONNELL died his mother was listed as Marjory FAIRCLOUGH
