Claybury Mental Hospital, Redbridge

Would like to know more about Claybury Hospital. 

I have been researching a soldier who died in 1916 and believe two of his brothers are there on the 1939 Register - both described as 'incapacitated'.  Rather unusual I think to have 2 siblings there at the same time - both would have been in the 40s then.  Was it just a mental hospital or could both have been there as a result of injuries received during WW1?

Yes that crossed my mind.  I can't be certain but I think one of them was discharged due to wounds in 1917.  Thank you!
