John Taylor Marriage
« on: Friday 01 June 18 22:06 BST (UK) »
Could someone look up the marriage of John Taylor and Mary Fletcher Nov 22 1802, St Mary's Nottingham.I am looking for any extra details that might help me. I cannot access Nottingham archives, and getting a copy seems impossible.

This marriage has been transcribed on freereg where no extra information is given.  If there was more information I would have expected  freereg to have transcribed it.

Hi,

I can a look at the marriage record next time I'm in Nottingham Archives as I go there most weeks, if it not to faded ( some of St Mary's records are very faded and unreadable) there should be witnesses on the marriage record. Although freereg is very good it's always best to check actual records as they don't always transcribe all details and do get a few wrong.

Thank you nottsgirl1,
The names of the witnesses don't ring any bells for me, but they give me another trail to follow. Now I know that at least at the time of their marriage they were both residents of St Mary's parish.
