On that's an interesting point- as you say the parents could have travelled a  fair distance in that time.
Guess this could a needle in a haystack. moment.  :'(

Hello all,
Now just as a point of interest since asking for advice a  few days ago. I have found out that St Adians Enniscorthy holds baptismal records for St John's Hospital Workhouse.

Hi everyone,
I found Kathleen did marry - got info from original church records. As had been mentioned she would have needed the freedom to marry in another church. The church she married in was Gorey when l visited the area l when into the church and lit a candle for her 😁
