Looking for death of Ann Mary FISHER nee GIBSON

Ann Mary FISHER nee Gibson's husband, William Samuel FISHER died 03 Jul 1952.  The Administration was given to their 2 adult children which makes me wonder if Ann Mary predeceased her husband .

Ann Mary FISHER nee Gibson was born in 1872 at Wymondham, Rutland.  Ann & William last address was Woodland Road,Forest Tn , Mansfield Woodhouse. 

Don't seem to be able to locate Ann and hoping for some assistance.

When is the last definite sighting of Ann? (1911 census, 1939 Register, children's births, electoral rolls  etc.)

This would help narrow the search.

I see on FreeBMD there are several Ann/Annie M FISHER marriages so is it possible therte was a divorce and re-marriage?

Have you checked to see where her children were living around this time as she may be staying with them after her husbands death.  I would not assume she had died before 1952 just because the children had applied for administration, she might not have been able to.

ok have checked and as far as i can tell through the GRO index it seems the Ann Mary whom Rosie located is the correct one as the death 'fits'.

Ann's daughter Mary Audrey died in 1953 with her death registered in Mansfield. This 'fits' on all levels including that she was referenced in the Administration of her father's effects so still alive in 1952.
