Lynch Family Greaghtermine Carrickmacusker
« on: Saturday 09 June 18 23:04 BST (UK) »
Looking for information before the 1901 census. Have found some information in the Catholic Parish Registers (1655-1915).Any other sources possible? I am aware of the fire which destroyed many Irish records but, still hopeful.

What a load of rubbish!!  Tons of records exist.

Civil Reg for example!!
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Do you mean Carrickmacosker
If so the Reg district is Lisnaskea.
Still trying to figure out the other name...

If you responded to the questions asked in your earlier threads you would probably already have the answer to what resources are available.

You don't seem to have responded to replies in many of the threads you've started  :-\

Not only are lots of Irish resources now online but most of them are free. As well as the Ireland Resources board there is one for Fermanagh at the top of this board.

'Greaghtermine' is a mis-transcription of Greaghatirrive townland in Lisnakea Poor Law Union/Registration District (Galloon Civil Parish).
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/reels/nai000783257/

Here are the Lynch family in 1901 census in Greaghatirrive- Carrickmacosker is the District Emuneration Division (DED)-
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Fermanagh/Carrickmacusker/Greaghternine/1358058

To trace the family further back you can look at vital records and church records.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
