John Thomas mother Sarah Llewellin born 1801
« on: Monday 11 June 18 07:44 BST (UK) »
I am trying to confirm if a John Thomas was born around 1801 to a John Thomas and Sarah Llewellin

The birth could have been recorded for Rudbaxton or Lambston

at the period you're looking for, there was no recording of births, only baptisms. So it would depend on which church the parents worshipped in. I've checked the parish records for Lambston & Rudbaxton.

There was a John Llewhellin baptised 11 Jan 1801 to Henry & Sarah in Lambston and 2 John Thomases in Rudbaxton 1 May 1803 to John & Elizabeth and 18 Nov 1804 to Benjamin & Sarah.

If the couple were non-conformist, the baptism may not be online and if they were Baptists, there wouldn't have been an infant baptism.
