No marriage in England.   1881/1891 shows Ann was born in Ireland.  Children born in Liverpool from around 1859.  Charles & children are boarders in 1871 but no Ann

Do you have any details of their marriage

Per FS  he died 26.3.1885 and is buried in Anfield Cemetary.  Unless his fathers name is on his marriage cert - it could be difficult to establish his parentage

I think the search here is prior to Liverpool.

It does it look as though Charles and Ann married. 1861 and 1871 Ann uses her married/widowed name of Ruxton.

Thanks for all help and am in touch with other member. Am afraid although this is all correct it is previous history that I am struggling with but all help is much appreciated.
