Marriage of Luke Lapham and Hannah Forward

Without a death you don't really know when she was born.  She may also have been widowed when she married in 1803.   

All things to consider before looking at baptisms in nearby parishes.

Hi,

Luke Lapam married Hannah Forward 24-1-1803 in Kilmington St.Mary, Wilts (after banns 9,16 & 28th Jan) Both of this parish.

Also Hannah Forward bapt. 23-6-1780 in Mere, Wilts (d/o James & Sarah).

If its any consolation there is also  a burial for James Forward 31-10-1780 in Mere. Could be the father
or another family member.

Since you’re looking at Mere and Kilmington, have you seen the website put together by Cathy Day? She tracked hundreds of families from Kilmington, Stourton and Mere for her PhD in biological anthropology. Here’s the site: http://www.wiltshirefamilyhistory.org/index.htm
