Just spotted this. No idea if it works as do not have an iPad.

Youíve always been able to edit photos on an iPad - as that shows - (alter lighting, colour etc and crop) but when you save what youíve done to them it overwrites your existing file plus thereís nothing you can do to change itís name.

Iíve also tried it earlier, you can crop but not resize... (the image stays the same size but itís zoomed in)

I cropped a photo and hit done. Went back and was able to revert back to the full image. So nothing was lost.  I didnít try to do the same with colour and lighting though. I am not sure if  you then sent the cropped image via email you would lose the original full image. :-\

Not a facility I would personally use on an iPad.

Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.
