There is a Prior/Belcher marriage in 1935 in Abingdon; a surname with potential for mis-reading. 

A mother born 1895.....giving birth in 1940; not impossible but unusual.

Annie E Belcher (later Forth) appears to be in Tonbridge in 1939 (free index).  She marries as Belcher, not Prier, in Tonbridge in 1942.

She does appear to be a separate person from the Annie (no middle name) who by this stage was a Prier.

Annie Elizabeth Belcher, born 9th February 1895 and baptised 7th April 1895 at St. Laurence, Cowley, Middlesex was the daughter of  William Frederick (a gardener) and Alice.  Does this match your records?

Thanks for the updates.
Annie Elizabeth Belcher is the correct person my grandmother sister, born in Cowley.
The age difference I wondered about as well as Clarence was 23 and Annie 42 for 1937 marriage.
It is confusing information at present.

They are two different Annie Belchers

The one who married Clarence dies as Prier
