Please help with list of properties

I have a copy of a Schedule of Properties of a village.  I’m trying to determine which is the oldest building; can someone please explain the terms Date of Lease and Commencement of term.

The "term" of a lease is the period of time during which the lessee has possession of the property.

So if I lease a property for a "term" of 99 years starting from 1 July and sign the paperwork today then the "date of lease" is 19 June and the "commencement of term" is 1 July.
