I've found out a few more facts about her spouses' bmds which I'll be adding to my tree which has grown like Topsy, as you said Sandra and is now nearly 21000 but annoyingly can find nothing for my paternal ancestry beyond the late 1700's!
I don't understand where VG appears from, who was her father I wonder? Presumably it was Mercer unless a late child for Uridge marriage?

That particular daughter was born 3 February 1947 (Ohio I think) - the result of a third marriage to John Redmond Keegan born 1901 (who passed away August 1971 - Last Residence 02915 Riverside, Providence, Rhode Island) and Rene C Mercer - 10 May 1945 - Manhattan New York. License Number - 10893
John Redmond Keegan had divorced his previous wife Celia Keegan 11 December 1944.
The couple divorced in Dade Florida in 1953. (11013)
