Is this the marriage that you are not telling us about?

Joseph Parkes m Hannah Smith   13 Dec 1874 @    Saint Thomas,Dudley,Worcester,England

We NEED parental/witness names to progress back to 1851 and before.
If you don't have the certificate then BUY it
If you do have the certificate then type all the information on it into a reply.

Pauline

Yes that is the marriage certificate, thank you.

(I didn't remember the exact details, from prior searching years ago, which is why I hadn't written them down on the post.)

I will have to buy it then and get back to the site.

It might be possible to see:

1841: Elie STOKES, b. 1817, age 24 RR (possibly Sarah's brother, which would enable me to see the family)

As mentioned below: Sarah ROSE (STOKES) b. 1822 is married by the time of this 1841 census.

(ROSE/STOKES m. 1841 - I have to get this marriage certificate too, along with PARKES/SMITH m.1874.)  :-[

Mary PARKES b. 1853, Phillis, Isaac  ...births were registered as SMITH because the Joseph PARKES/Hannah SMITH marriage took place after all the children were all born - m.1874

Re: 1841 Marriage Thomas ROSE/STOKES - David ROSE is the father, furnaceman.

Is there a David ROSE, head, with a Thomas ROSE, b. 1821 on the 1841 census RR?

(I will look into getting the marriage certificate too).

Thank you.
