Thank you, surname is  LOGAN and father is Edward Anthony.

None of the names in the items posted match any names I have verified.

As already mentioned, the death entry.
The Victorian Death Index in its CD form which I have viewed, shows the following.

STEWART, Mary Eveline.
Father Edwd LOGAN
Mother Unk Unk
 Melb W
Age 38
1927/15620

There is not a second name given for the father.

This Mary Eveline STEWART is interred at Fawkner Memorial Park. It was a catholic interment and she is located with Mary and James HOGAN who are of an age to be her parents.

I would be starting to think about informant errors in this case.

https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/204911721 15 July 1936  The Age
.... residence for Mr James HOGAN ... 135 Rosslyn St West Melbourne (from funeral details for his beloved wife)

ADD
https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/204911727 confirms Mrs STEWART as her deceased daughter. Also gives Alan James (HOGAN) as Mary Eveline's brother.  Sadly, he too was deceased.

Allan James Frank HOGAN was KIA in WW1.  Mary's death says she was born in India, James in Victoria.  I have no idea who these people are   ;D

AIF on enlistment,  Frank HOGAN as born Carlton, Melbourne, Victoria, and aged 21 years 3 months as at 26 Feb 1916 when signing papers at Bendigo.  So looking for a birth in 1894.  So, Mary Eveline would be his older sister,  :) so perhaps a question could be ... when were her parents in NZ ....

A Bendigo newspaper notes Frank's recruitment.
https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/220908679
28th Feb 1916

Reading the file of Frank HOGAN, there seems to be considerable doubt on the part of James HOGAN and the Department as to whether the deceased soldier is or is not their son.

Soldier's father's (NOK) address is all wrong and there is no sign that Mary and James HOGAN were ever in Bendigo. Father James HOGAN states by letter has lived in Lonsdale street for many years.
