Cpunting the War dead

Not sure there is a shortcut. I've been trying to work out how many died from our small market town, and as far as I can see, it's 107. 8 of those I have still to identify, all I have is surname and initials.

We have four war memorials, one in the cemetery, one in the parish church, one in the secondary school, and one in the local band practice hall. Together those came to 70 men. There was a lot of overlap.

You'd think someone would have counted up when they made the War Memorials, but apparently not!
