Ivy E Plaskett a Dancer/Ballerina

I am searching for information on an Ivy Ellen Plaskett who became a Dancer / Ballerina.  She was born in 1939 in Nottingham and moved to London where she married and had children. Unable to find the married name but am interested in her dancing.  Not sure where to find records.

I know she has passed away as well, not sure when and where.

Can only see 1 marriage for an Ivy Plaskett and that is too young to be yours. 

Not sure where you would find dance records.  If she performed on stage maybe her name would be in newspapers so I would search that first.

"Others taking part in the completion" includes amongst others  "Modern Ballet Dancer Ivella Plaskett of Nottingham"
Can t find any other details of Ivy though.

Did she definitely marry?  I wonder under what name/spelling.

There are 4 Plaskett/Scott births in Nottingham from 1930 to 1939.  The 3 siblings appear in 2 trees on GenesReunited, but Ivy Ellen is recorded as Ivella born 1937 in both.

Perhaps she changed her stage name to Ivella xxxx, and then married under that name.

There is a marriage of an Ivella Blake to Turner in 1963, and then a possible further marriage of Ivella Turner to Rowe in 1977.  There is a death of an Ivella Kim Rowe in Hartlepool in 2001, with a birth date of 06/09/1939.  Highly speculative, so exact date of birth would help.

Added: Mr Turner probably died in 1976.

Ivy Ellen Plaskett was born September 6, 1939 in Nottingham.  I does look like she changed her name to Ivella.  She may have been adopted out too.  Not sure yet.  Great finds! Thank you to all!

She was Ivella Plaskett in 1956, and then Ivella Blake in 1963.

So she either married first between 1956 and 1963, or married under her stage name of Blake?

Wonder where the 'Kim' (at death) came from?

Do they put obituaries in the newspapers in Durham?  So for Ivella Kim Rowe died November 2001.
She is very hard to track down.
