Not without my ordering the certificate too!
As you can see from the link I posted  the names of the parents are not included in this part of the indexes.  But the year is correct. You think he may have been born in Scotland. Seems worth the gamble to me.

I don’t think you can look at that one with credits (it’s too recent) you have to buy the actual cert, that’s why the blue button says buy certificate , rather than view with credits.

Oops, that’s a bummer. I have found the marriage of his possible parents......just need somehow to connect them on my fam tree....lots of credits to use up.....

You’ll use them no problem I’m sure, but don’t get carried away until  you are sure of his parents. It is easy to go along the wrong path.

I’m having a great time, connected the parents to John and his found his grandparents.
I making a family tree chart with details from an old family bible belonging to a friend.
I wasn’t sure which area of the UK to look, just guessed it could be Scotland from the list of names.
The link you gave was the key.
