A tricky bit of work on Holt farmhouse. Jessamine family.
« on: Wednesday 27 June 18 18:22 BST (UK) »
I`ve been sent two photos of my ancestors house, but both have building work going on and cars in the front.  Can anything be done to remove these. One final image will be fine depending on which is easiest.
Thank you.

Gorgeous house Wilcoxon - I'm very jealous.  :)

May I ask whereabouts it is?

My try.
I started out trying to do the other picture to complement Pat's (and now Rami's) but found it too hard. :-\
So now you've got three versions of this one. ;D

Thank you so much, they are all really good. Up till a few years ago it was covered with a grey rendering and the young couple who have taken on the challenge of restoring it  are doing a wonderful job.

The surrounding farm buildings have also been converted by a property developer, so new buyers don`t have the mess and toil that the new owners of the hall have.

What a wonderful house Wilcoxon! Thanks for the links.  :)

As for the farm buildings .... ummm (would have been nicer if they had retained their original character me thinks)  ;)  :)

My family were tenant farmers,  but lived in the "big house".
I am descended from the illegitimate  son b 1828,  his father was born there in 1803. Thankfully he was given his fathers surname, otherwise I would have never have found so much.
I also found a baptism for another illeg son quite  by chance in the same PR`s, but he took his mothers name. I guess TW was a "bit of a lad"
Somehow I missed out the Wilcoxon name, but Jessamine`s were a family they married into and also lived there. . (Spelt various ways.)
