Liverpool marriage
« on: Thursday 28 June 18 17:25 BST (UK) »
Hi, I have a transcription of a marriage at At Lukes Liverpool in 1917 for Cyril Lunn Oldroyd and Elizabeth Ann Green, I know she is the daughter of Samuel Green but as it's a popular name I really need her father's occupation to clinch it. Has anyone got the full details?
Thank you  Glyn

Hi
Thank you so much, that has clinched it, father was a mill manager at Oldham, he died in 1915, Eveline had gone to America in 1912 and the Liverpool clue was Joseph as a 40 year old insurance agent in 1911, I hadn't found his marriage.
Elizabeth Ann was born in Mossley, lived in Oldham, married in Liverpool and died in Wakefield! Also looks like they had a son in Huddersfield who died aged 11, no wonder she was hard to find.
Thanks again Glyn
