Christopher Willan

Hi! Looking for the parents of Christopher Willan born 1663, married Annas Tatham in 1688. Annas was born 1667. Had a daughter, Isabel Willan born 1692, who married James Hodgson in 1716. All events seemed to have occurred around Dent and Sedburgh, Yorkshire. I saw an Anthony Willan born 1555, which could be an ancestor of Christopher but just a big gap in between Anthony's era and Christopher's. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

FreeReg has a Richard Willon, son of Richard, baptised in Sedbergh in 1664.
Does your man have any children called Richard?

Alternatively, if I remember rightly, Sedbergh was a stronghold of the early non-conformist movement.  Have you checked their records?

Did Annas die and then Christopher remarried an Agnes Baynes?
