Help find Furniture Dealer Occupation Record
« on: Sunday 01 July 18 18:00 BST (UK) »
Im trying to find my 3rd great grandfather George Henry Squires who was a Furniture Dealer around 1909

Thats all i know of him because it is on his sons marriage record, so its proving difficult in finding him. Would his occupation have been called something else?
Tuzio, Verrechia, Quaglieri, Squires, Matthews, Totten, Cooke, Hill

Have you used the son's details to track him back through the census records?  Nothing in your post to identify the son or the county etc etc
Census Information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

Thats my other thread but i wanted to make a separate one just to ask a question about the Occupation records. Ive had a really hard time trying to find Williams birth certificate and matching him on census records with any George Henry Squires.
