Quarterly meetings?
« on: Sunday 01 July 18 18:58 BST (UK) »
Hello,

This comes from this report:

http://studylib.net/doc/8626767/descendants-of-richard-ransted

It's written that Ann Ransted's 1669 burial (3rd or 4th page) was recorded in the 'Quarterly Meeting'. What could this have been? It says that she was a Quaker, could it have been a meeting of Quakers or something?

I'd be interested to hear any thoughts.

You  will get quite a lot of useful information if you turn to 'google'  ;)

For instance try 'quaker quarterly meetings + deaths'

I have checked and she was not buried in the Alton Quaker Burial Ground so it must have been one of the others. Yours Jane
