Ellen Jones Glanmorfa Abererch(Llanarmon)

Hi,I'm not on Ancestry so cannot see Evan in the 1851 census.I've found John in the 1911 census Llanengan living in the Vaynol hotel with his sister.Ellen's grandparents are in the censuses from 1841 onwards at Glan y morfa parish of Llanarmon,I do not know anymore.

My query should have phrased as
 
"Please confirm that you meant John and Catherine as the G-parents you were pointing to and not anyone else."

Thank you Ray I now recognise "Sussex, Malding" since you have pointed it out. I see that the writer has used a "long S" to replace the first s in the double s of Sussex. I cannot find a Malding in Sussex although an online gazeteer of Sussex place names shows a "Mairling".

i might of found out what Evan was a broker in.

Evan Jones Lodger Widower 52 Shipwright Carnarvonshire, Wales

Although Shipwright could be someone who builds or repairs ships it could also be some one who trades them.

Evan and Ann Jones-Potter had a daughter, Sydney Ann, baptised in Hitchen in 1851.

I can't find her in later censuses except that there is one, born in London, in Llanberis in 1861, niece of John and Laura Evans.

I can't see an Ellen Jones registered with the mother as Potter.

Does anyone have access to welsh newspapers?I was wondering about Ellen's obituary,she died 26/3/1883 when she was 29 years old.
