Glasgow LDS Family History Centre?
« on: Monday 02 July 18 10:57 BST (UK) »
I'm in Glasgow and was hoping to visit the LDS Family History Centre, but I can't find any information about it online. Does anyone know the address/hours? I found a phone number for the church but no one is answering.

Thanks in advance!

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

looks like there are three in Glasgow.
Enter Glasgow in the search box and then peer at the map for the little tree symbols. Hover over  - gives hours and phone numbers

Thank you very much! I just called and unfortunately they are closed for all of July.  :-[

No answer at Paisley, either, so I think all of Scotland's FHCs may be closed for July.

Mitchell Library is another good place for family research they also have a search room for Scotlands People which costs you about £15.00-£16.00 for the day ..All depends what you are looking for the Mitchell Library have records of poor relief which is free

What were you hoping to look up there that you couldn't see anywhere else, and how urgent is it?
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
