My Fraser ancestors lived in Ardglassie, Rathen at one time, this was once part of the Saltoun estate but I was advised by a Fraser researcher that it was never sold along with other parts of the estate(although the other parts were all repurchased by the Fraser family).  I note that there was a John Fraser who inherited the estate, a younger brother of one of the Lord Saltouns.   Do documents exists showing ownership throughout the centuries?

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
