Stanley Radford Barker b.911 is on 1911 census. Census also shows James age 1 month crossed out. Cannot find birth or death registration, is it possible they were twins? Do any parish records exist for Sparkhill, Birmingham? Any help appreciated , regards ansellsales

Probably just an error.

Is he part of a family unit?
What are the numbers for years wed/ number of kids etc?

Perhaps this is who they meant, he appears to have died in infancy
BARKER, JAMES       mmn RADFORD
1906  June Quarter in SOLIHULL  Volume 06D  Page 652

Deaths Jun qtr 1906
Barker    James   age 0    Solihull    6d   340

There is no other Barker / Radford birth in Solihull at the time Stanley was born.

Yes it does say 2 children born, but one has died, one still alive,so looks like James was the one that Rosie found, and mum must have thought he ought to be included on the census. The enumerator probably crossed him out as no longer being alive.
