GATES (possibly aka YATES), William - baptised Swanbourne 1765
« on: Saturday 07 July 18 00:38 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone

This post follows on from the one here: http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=796339

William Gates was baptised in Swanbourne in March 1765, parents Thomas Gates and Mary Smith.  The family name is also sometimes recorded as Yates.

I am looking to find if there is any other information available about William, such as a marriage or death - anything to indicate that he could not be the William Yates first married in Deal, Kent in 1789 (http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=796240).

Any assistance greatly appreciated.
